Now Taylor Scheduling Software customers have an intuitive and easy way to communicate their production schedule to the rest of their organization. It is called the TS Event Viewer and can be deployed on a company's intranet via a web browser.
Taylor's TS Event Viewer uses an intuitive calendar layout that lets staff select that part of the production schedule which is meaningful to their department. Staff can browse forward through the months, click on links to view production details and customize the formatting of the information displayed.
Taylor's TS Event Viewer is a browser-based thin client that connects to Taylor Scheduler in real time, displaying the most recent saved production schedule. No software is needed to be installed by the user - they simply point their browser to the appropriate page on their company intranet. The TS Event Viewer can be used to replace older methods of communicating the production schedule to staff - paper reports and travelers and to more staff (e.g. Marketing & Management) keeping them abreast of what is going on in the facility.
Taylor's TS Event Viewer is an add-on module and requires Taylor Scheduler to be operational.
