Taylor Announces Partnership Agreement with TAK International for Advanced Factory Scheduling Systems Sales and Support in Taiwan Taipei Marketing and Distribution Company to Provide Analysis, Configuration, Implementation, Training and Support for TESS
December 1999 - Leading plant scheduling software provider Taylor Manufacturing Systems, Inc., today announced a service partnership agreement with TAK International, Ltd. of Taipei, Taiwan.
TAK will distribute TESS®, Taylor's Windows®-based, multi-user advanced factory scheduling system in Taiwan. The company will also provide implementation, training, and customer support services.
“We are pleased to have TAK International as a partner in this region of the world because they are a company with an exemplary track record in Taiwan,” said Taylor's international manager Robert Macdonald. “With their experience in industrial applications, TAK will not only help bring Taylor products to the marketplace but will also supply a highly qualified level of service to our clients.”
Macdonald said that as the industrial needs and expertise of many companies in Taiwan shift from hard industrial goods to high-end electronics and computer products, TAK's partnership with Taylor will provide the tools manufacturers need to compete on a global scale.
Brian W. Trendelm, President of TAK International said that in the next decade, TAK's services will focus on solutions which help its clients develop the production efficiencies they need to compete in a price competitive market while continuing to meet the requirements of quality standards.
